Kansalaistori Square, Helsinki

The area between the House of music and the Museum of modern art was cleared of the remains of old warehouses,

and in their place they laid out a square with lawns and paths.

The monument "Singing pike" (Laulupuut) appeared on the square in 2012.

The sculpture is having 13 meters in height, made of aluminum and steel by the artist Reijo Huckaboom.

Commercial center Santomalo, built in 1999 by Jan söderlund and Antti-Matti Siikala. All the walls of the building, including the internal ones, are made of glass. Unfortunately, due to lack of time, we were not able to look at the stunning interiors of the "glass house".
